How to Brew Our Cookie-Shaped Tea
Brewing this tea is simple—just follow these easy steps for the perfect cup every time:
1. Water-to-Tea Ratio
- Thermos/Travel Mug: Use 1 part tea to 120–200 parts water (e.g., 1 tsp tea for 120–200ml water).
- Gaiwan (Lidded Brewing Cup): Use 1 part tea to 20 parts water (e.g., 5g tea for 110ml gaiwan).
- Boiled Drinking: Use 1 part tea to 120–160 parts water (great for making a larger batch).
2. Stovetop Brewing (Quick Method)
Boil 300–400ml water, then drop in 1 tea slice. As soon as the water returns to a boil, turn off the heat. Let it cool naturally—you’re done!*
3. Gaiwan Brewing (Quick & Fresh)
For an 110ml gaiwan: Add 2 slices (about 5g) of tea. Pour boiling water over the leaves, then immediately pour the tea out after 7–8 seconds. No steeping time—brew and go!
4. Thermos Brewing (Long-Lasting Freshness)
Add 2.5g of tea to a thermos, then pour in 300–500ml boiling water. Let it steep as long as you like—no bitter or astringent notes, even after hours!*
*Pro tip: The key is to avoid over-steeping (especially with gaiwan/brewing cups) to keep the flavor bright and smooth.
Enjoy your tea—simple, cozy, and totally worth it. ☕
